help bass fishing please?

I fish a lake that is still cold. about 50 degrees. Lake of the very dramatic changes. mostly in deep water. very rocky. The state record smallmouth came out of this twice. it has a good population mouth, large and small. my question is, how can I trigger these bass to strike when the water is this cold and they do not seem to be active at the moment? I a variety of lures and soft baits drives. I am looking for ideas for choosing lures and methods for the fishermen in my situation, I have a burning sensation need to take a low right now and its like having a monkey on my back. I am losing sleep about it. please help. this lake is heavily stocked trout rainbow frequently.
